Information we collect
Account information such as your name, email address and mobile number; matter information such as matter type, description, jurisdiction, court, case number and parties; documents you upload; consultation bookings; and payment records including transaction identifiers, amounts and status.
What we do not collect
We do not store raw card information. Payments are handled through gateway-hosted components wherever possible.
How the information is used
To register and assess your matter, to route it to an appropriate advocate, to coordinate consultations, to process payments, to send notifications relating to your matter, and to maintain audit records.
Who can see your information
Access is role-based. A client can see only their own cases and documents. An advocate can access only matters assigned or authorised to them. Administrative access is limited to authorised personnel and is recorded in audit logs.
Document storage
Documents are stored in secure object storage and are served only through authenticated, access-controlled endpoints. Direct storage URLs are never exposed.
Security measures
Passwords are hashed. Sessions are managed with signed tokens. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Uploads are validated for type and size. Rate limiting is applied to sensitive endpoints.
Retention
Case and payment records are retained for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet record-keeping obligations.
Notifications
We use email for transactional notifications relating to your matter. The architecture supports adding SMS and WhatsApp channels in future.
Your choices
You may request access to or correction of your account information by contacting us. Deleting a document from your dashboard removes it from your view; records may be retained for audit purposes.
